Year end sale statistics are in
The Toronto Real Estate Board has published the real estate sales statistics for December 2006. There was a little over 4,400 sales in December bringing the total number of sales for 2006, in the areas covered by the Toronto Real Estate Boards MLS® system, to just over 83,000. A slight drop from last years record 84,000+ home sale. Interestingly, the monthly sales volume was a little higher in December 2006 then in December 2005.
