In your email include a statement that I have permission to publish your homes information on any or all of my websites. you may have your home information removed at any time should you sell it or just change your mind.
Selling your own home can be stressful. Even when you are willing to work with Realtors and pay them a commission if they bring in the buyer for your home. Most of the time, when you put your sign on the law, the vast number of calls that you receive are from Realtors looking to list your home (I may be one of them). However, even though you tell them that you will pay a commission if they find the right buyer, if they ever call back it is only to see if you are ready to give up and list your home.
Ever wondered why agents never bring real buyers to look at your home. The simple answer is that shortly after hanging up the phone we are thinking about the next client and your home is forgotten until the next scheduled time to call you. When we have a buyer in mind we look at the MLS system first and if your homes information is not in front of the right realtor at the right time then they don't even know that there is a match. There are some other issues that affect whether they will bring in a client but most of the time they just do not remember that your home exists without being reminded. My FSBO page is that reminder for me. It also attracts buyers that I can bring through your home.
All that I need from you is your permission to post your homes information on my site and your agreement that you are willing to pay a commission to me if I bring in the buyer for your home. That and a discription of your home and maybe a picture or two. I would like to walk through your home so that I have a good idea of what I am trying to sell. I will also need to know how to contact you when I need to show your home. As long as you are selling your home privately you will receive "customer service" and I will be representing my buyer clients. Should you decide that you need to sell and want to be represented I would be more than happy to be your agent and market your home as a client. Posting your home on my site does not put your home on the MLS system and does not replace a full marketing program, like the service I provide for my home seller clients. |
