Real estate is a service industry. Many agents who have been in the industry for a long time seem to have forgotten that. I believe strongly that if you are not happy with the service that you are getting then your agent is not doing their job right. After all it is you, the client that is doing the buying or selling not the agent. When I started Real Estate I had no love for salespeople and hated high pressure people who always try to up-sell me on products that I have no need for. This has translated into how I sell homes. I actively try to identify what your needs are and remove the stress and pressure by giving you all of the information that you need to make an informed choice. I concentrate on knowing all of the benefits and concerns about the homes that I am selling so that I can answer your questions and make it easier for to identify, and make, the right choice for you.
With Buyer agency since 1995 and stricter laws regarding disclosure and representations of homes, the industry has changed the role of the Realtor® in the selling process. Gone are the days when a big smile and some slick sales pitch can sell a home. With the amount of information and comparable homes on the market and the internet buyers have a good idea of what is going on in the areas that they are interested. What buyers need now is for an agent to match their needs with the features of an available home and provide them with the information that they need to make the decision to purchase easier.
In conclusion, a Realtor's® is now to remove obstacles in front of the potential buyers way. We use a variety of methods to market your home to the most buyers possible while protecting the seller by disclosing pertinent facts with out weakening your negotiation power
The most important concept in the Real Estate industry, is that the client must come first.
My time is very important to me because my time is really my clients time. It is important not to waste my clients time and as such I spend some time every day to think about how to qualify buyers and sellers better.
Who is Andrew Hodge
I, Andrew Hodge, was born and raised in Toronto and am currently living in Oak Ridges which is a beautiful area of Richmond hill, in "The Humberlands" since 1999. I have a varied background having been to university for Chemical Engineering to completing an apprenticeship and college to become a professional Pastry Chef. I have also worked for a manufacturer of Post and Beam Homes just outside of Aurora. I have an analytical mind that loves the challenge of addressing unique concerns and developing solutions. I also have a creative side that enjoys the arts, music and home design, both architecture and decor. I honestly love meeting and interacting with all kinds of people on a daily basis.
I truely believe that the best way to grow my business is to exceed my clients expectations regarding real estate services. This is why I have created "Your Area Home Team" with Warren Quinn.
